My microwave broke, and I learned a lesson about the ingredient of time in any art.
Now that more people are working from home and discovering that home all the time
life, I feel crowded.
The tasks that seem fun in the morning are very different than the ones that seem fun at night. Seems I need to master my arc.

I'm doing something I've never done before, and it requires putting myself out there. SIGH. I'm nervous that everyone will be annoyed by my Patreon poster push, lose all of their respect for me, and simply not be interested in my (what I think is cool) offer. In other words, just a normal day!

Truth be told, I like fidget cubes much better than fidget spinners (and I like other toys, materials, and stim activities more than I like either of those things). But still: Don’t ban them just because the neurotypical public may have “ruined” them and made them annoying for everyone. Many autistic and ADHD people like myself use them and rely on stimming activities or toys to relieve anxiety and pent up emotion!

Rules for an Everything Journal
1) Embrace imperfection. You’ll make mistakes and cross things out, and that’s OKAY.
2) Write, draw, scribble, tape ticket stubs and other memories…do anything!
3) Literally, do whatever you want. Don’t be hard on yourself.
Additional tips:

How to start a positivity jar
1) Get a jar (or clear receptacle)
2) Cut a ton of strips of paper (so you don’t have to cut them throughout the year)
3) Write little sentences on the paper strips whenever you feel like it. Fold strips, toss in jar, and watch your positivity jar fill up!

I really did want to be an archaeologist. May have also wanted to be a Barbie.
When we pre-crastinate, we get tasks out of the way very quickly, rather than waiting on them. I tend to pre-creastinate on more trivial tasks, while I continue to procrastinate on serious goals. Pre-crastination can ease our mental burdens and make us feel temporarily accomplished for having achieved a small goal. One potential way to harness the positive effects of pre-crastination is to break down our big goals (the ones we tend to procrastinate on) into smaller, manageable chunks. That way, we can still benefit from confidence boost of more frequent accomplishments while tricking ourselves into making progress on our real, procrastinatory goals.

Woke up disappointed. Somehow turned my day around. This is how.
Note: Please do not confuse disappointment and sadness with depression. Depression is something much different that I also do experience, but that was not the case this morning.

Here are the words I play
in this episode
query: to ask; to question
defy: to challenge the power of; resist boldly
echo: to resound with an echo (a repetition or close imitation)
